This weekend I spent many hours in a car that resulted in this:

Some more pearls to attach to the leafs and cloth but otherwise the first piece to the body are “nearly” done. Time to start thinking about what linning to use. I have some handwoven linen sheats  that I´m thinking about couloring to black and use as lining, I also have a white linen/cotton brocade that might work but I think a black lining will be better. I´m a bit nervous that it will be very thick with both linen and velvet so thinking about ordering some black silk to use instead….all this decisions…
