About Silwa

150Welcome to my blog, Silwa goes purjo. Here I write about my adventures and projects in the Society for Creative Anachronism.

I have been a member of SCA since 2005 and I live in Nordmark, Drachenwald (a.k.a Sweden, Europe (and South Africa).

My persona in the SCA is The Honourable Lady Silwa af Swaneholm. I am an apprentice to Mistress Lia de Thornegge and a member of her household.

I spend a lot of time with making scrolls and material for using when making them such as pigments, shellgold, glair, paint, gesso, inks, quills and paint brusches. I also like making garb, mostly between 14th-16th century

Since Swedish is my native language I apologize for grammatical errors and misspellings and hope that you can understand my blog posts any way.
